Selena Gomez was born Selena Anne Gomez on the beautiful morning of July 22, 1992. While growing up she enjoyed cheerleading, singing and acting. In 2002, at the tender age of 10, Selena revieved her big break when casted on the hit kids television show Barney & Friends as Gianna where she met her future best friend Demi Lavato.

Since then, Selena's carreer has blown up. In 2007, Selena was casted in Disney's first Latino television show "Wizards of Waverly Place" as Alex Russo, a budding teenager who can think of nothing better to do than cause mischeif by useing her magical powers. Soon after, she was casted as Mary in "Another Cinderella Story" which she strred along side the High School Musical Concert Tour star Andrew Seeley.

But the roles are still pouring in as Selena continues to be crowned the next Disney Queen. Her latest movie is the latest Disney Channel Original movie, "Princess Protection Program" where she and her best friend Demi Lavato are reunited in an amazing movie that's sure to come!
